"CSA Survivors"

A MESSAGE FROM THE GOVERNING BODY

Obviously the "CSA Survivors" concept was a success. Based on on-field criteria, few could argue that this team had probably the strongest collection of talent in CSA history. Except for Donger of course.

Statistically, Survivors became only the second co-ed flag team to go unbeaten and capture an outright title. The Outcasts were not far behind. Of their four losses, three were to their sister squad. And the other loss was to the defending league champion (at the time) Cement Shoes.

The interest level was also high. Over 700 hits on the Survivor main page in less than two months.

22 people participated in the "experiment". Neither squad played with the same line-up from week to week until the semi-final round. A collective record of 14-4-1 [Survivors 8-0-1, Outcasts 6-4] with a record of 11-1-1 against the rest of the league proved that the CSA gimmick concepts can work.

Congratulations to all the Survivors and the Outcasts.

Following the success of the "One Season" series and "CSA Survivors" look for CSA's next "CONCEPT" team, coming this summer.
