SoftballFest 2 was an even bigger success than the original. The event was blessed by terrific weather conditions and everyone that participated seemed to have a great time.

The group was broken into four teams in a blind draft and each team got the chance to play the other three.

The four teams, Porn Stars (captain Mike Lyons), Swank (Wins Despite Stewart) (captain Vince Carozza), Leland's Still Winless (captain Chris Cooney), and Zack Sucks (captain Steve Swaney), played competitive, highly fun contests.

The Porn Stars tied with Swank for the days best record at 2-1, but were declared champions based on their victory over Swank in the first game of the day.

The two other teams tied at 1-2, with Leland's Still Winless getting third place over Zack Sucks based on a head to head win.

The team name, "Leland's Still Winless", may seem misleading, considering his team went 1-2. However, Leland joined the team as a replacement midway through the second game and finished 0-2. This dropped Leland's Softballfest record to an all-time worst 0-5. In an unbelievable irony, not one of the 80 players to participate in CSA SoftballFest has a worse individual record than the CSA President.

Zack Sucks was named based on the playing ability of Zack Hughes, and between having Zack, Roger, and Chad Wade on the team, did they ever really have a chance. Only a win over the tournament champions in the final game (after Porn Stars had clinched) kept ZS from getting swept.

In a final interesting twist, Stewart Sadler broke his softballfest losing streak at four games and finished Winter SoftballFest with two straight wins. Of course, he will never live down getting toasted by his It's All About the Beer teammate, Cathi Dugger, and dropping numerous easy flyballs in the outfield. However, Swank was still able to tie for first despite Stewart.
