INAUGURAL ALL-STAR SHOOT-OUT

In the first ever CSA Co-ed Flag Football All-Star Game, Roger gets his third straight victory over Leland.

The White Stars defeated The Gray Stars 19-0.

Led by game MVP, Roger Werner, the White team cruised to victory. Rotating QB's, White led 6-0 after the first half on a long touchdown pass to Dione Turner.
In the second half, White busted the game open. A deflected pass from QB Sean Bailey was caught for a TD on fourth and goal. The score made the game 12-0 and after a one handed interception by Roger inside the Gray twenty yard line, the game was all but over.
Turner added another touchdown with a minute to go, and with the conversion by Melissa O'Dell, the game was sealed 19-0.

The Gray stars stayed in the game early in the first half. Led by captain Jason Jesensky, Gray rotated QB's, with Jesensky, John Haartje, Duane Shippy, Chad Lanier, and Leland Dombrowsky all handling snaps. The alternating QB's were unable to produce any points however. The Gray squad made only one advance inside the White twenty yard line. That drive was set up by a long halfback option pass from Haartje to Shippy, but on third and goal, Dombrowsky was intercepted in the endzone by Terry Wilson.

The CSA Fall Co-ed Flag Football league regular season started by having a group picture with all eight teams between games and the regular season concluded with an All-Star game between games. We hope that everyone has enjoyed being part of the start of a tradition in CSA sports.
