THE PICTURES ARE UP!

Ball Bangers win the first ever CSA Kickball Tournament. In the championship game, the Ball Bangers dominated Sweathogs, holding the "Hogs" to just one run in a 5-1 victory

Seven teams competed in the round robin/elimination tournament. Each team played two "open" round games to determine seeding. Then the teams were re-bracketed in a single elimination tournament to crown a champion.

Each team played at least two games to determine seeding for elimination play. In open play, the Sweathogs were the only team to win both their games. They beat the Ass Kickers in the first game, and then came back in their second game to knock off the Lambs and claim the top seed for elimination play.

The best game of the open round was between the eventual champs, Ball Bangers, and Drunkyard Dawgs. The Dawgs rallied with two runs in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game at 6.

The two teams would meet again in the semi-finals. Their, the Ball Bangers were able to prevail and they advanced to the championship game with a 2-1 win.
In the championship, they faced the Sweathogs. The Sweathogs got to the title game by beating Vandelay Industries 5-1.

The first CSA Kickball Tournament was highlighted by competitive play from all the teams, two broken kickballs, two mandatory "adult beverage" time-outs, and Leland pulling the executive privilege card twice to integrate himself into the game. But the most important aspect of the inaugural tournament was the large quantity of beer consumed by the participants.

CSA thanks everyone for participating in the first ever CSA kickball event, "The Kickball Tourney".
