The 2009 "The Throne" tournament is an invitation only championship tournament. The teams that received bids were selected based on several criteria, including record (maximum 2 losses), strength of schedule, team conduct, etc.

MORE COWBELL has qualified for "The Throne Invitational" by winning the regular season division title in the Frankie Allen Park with an 8-0 record.

SMELL THE GLOVE, the two time defending Throne champions, has qualified for "The Throne Invitational" by finishing with a 7-1 regular season record. The only loss was a one run game against More Cowbell.

THE TED HEADS have qualified for the invitational by winning the regular season division title in the Piedmont Park Thursday night division. They finished the regular season a perfect 8-0.

INFOMART MAVERICKS have qualified for the invitational by winning their fourth consecutive Monday night Recreational division title and the Nickajack Division Championship. They have a 7-1-1 record during the summer season.
