Players are listed in the order they were chosen. This was an open live draft.

The seven captains (with draft coordinators) are Laura Severinsen (Leland Dombrowsky), Mary Hawkins (Roger Werner), Kristin Tench (Brian Schlossberg), Karen Huber (Glen Walker), Kara O'Brien (Darren Ross), Kathy Reiff, Beth Barstow (Jake Cohn).

Kristin's team did not participate in the dispersement draft because her team chose to defend their championship from the first Melting Pot tournament

Players are listed with the number they were chosen, captain they were selected by, and current or most recent CSA flag football team. The draft order does not reflect player trades that were made subsequent to the draft.

With one team already set with their roster, the other six teams would be playing catch-up. With the first overall selection, Beth decided to make sure she would be strong on girls and selected Carleen Tullier. This marked the second time that Carleen was a first round selection (she went third overall in the first TMP). Karen went for a QB, and took "Grandpa" Bowers. Mary and Kathy went for size in the first round, taking twin towers Sean Barstow and Dave Lautenschlager. Laura went for speed, taking Steve Gilbert at number five, and Kara finished the first round by selecting Julie Zeisler.

The major happenings of the draft came when trading began. Mary and Laura (who both were not present) pulled off the biggest deal in CSA history when 18 players changed teams. The deal was orchestrated by CSA head's Leland and Roger, so obviously noone was going to be able to overrule it.

As far as league representation went, for existing teams, Legion of Doom led the way with eight players, followed by Billy Otis, who had six players (including two captains). L.C.W., who had a record nine players in the first tournament, had only one, Leland, in the second edition. The new Survivors/Outcast team had 16 players from their joint roster in the tournament.
