MEMBERSHIP RULES

For all CSA Sports Leagues, active members receive $10 off their participation fee. If they are included on a team roster, that discount is taken out of the team fee.

CSA has revised our criteria for calculating the member discount. In the past, the discount was calculated by the number of members on the roster at the time the team was paid for.

Because the objective of the CSA program is to have people meet each other and get involved with new groups of people, it is unfair to penalize teams and members that are added to the roster after the team is paid for, but before the season starts. We want members to feel they get full value and if they are going to play a full season, they are entitled to their membership discount.

Effective June 1st, any CSA SportsLeague member that is officially on a teams roster PRIOR to the start of league play, will be entitled to the $10 participation discount. If this was not factored in when team payment was made, a credit will be issued for that person or team.

This means that if you add a player to your roster that is a CSA member before your season starts, CSA will honor their member status.

For example:

Leland submits his roster/application for CSA Summer Co-ed Softball on May 15th.
The roster has 0 active members.
Leland makes team payment of $650 on May 22nd
Roger is added to the roster on June 10. Roger is a CSA member.
League play starts on June 13.
Roger is issued a $10 credit for his membership
